The terms you agree to by using this site.

1. Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Concept Floor & Epoxy, a licensed flooring contractor working across San Diego County. Our California contractors’ licence is CSLB #1158705. We are a service-area business: we come to you, and there is no showroom to visit. You can reach us on (619) 514-3107 or at info@conceptfloorepoxy.com, Mon–Sat 7am–6pm.

“We” and “us” below mean Concept Floor & Epoxy. “You” means anyone using this site, requesting a quote, or using the floor visualizer.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover this website and the tools on it — the quote forms, the floor visualizer, and the pages themselves. Using the site means you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

They are not the contract for your floor. When you book work, you sign a written proposal that sets out the scope, the price, the schedule, the payment terms and the warranty for your job. That document governs the work. Where anything on this page differs from it, the signed document wins.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why. It is part of these terms.

3. The site is information, not an offer

Everything on this site — the finishes, the timings, the cure times, the descriptions of each floor system — is here to tell you what we do and to help you decide. None of it is a binding offer, and nothing on it forms a contract until we have quoted your space and you have signed a proposal.

Timings we describe are typical, not promised. “Coated in a day, driveable in three” is what a normal residential garage does at normal San Diego temperatures. A slab with heavy moisture, a repair we uncover during grinding, cold weather or a large commercial area all change it. Your actual schedule is the one written on your proposal.

4. Quotes and estimates

Our in-home estimate is free, there is no charge to measure and quote your space, and you are under no obligation to book. Sending a quote request does not commit you to anything and does not commit us to a price.

• A price is only a price once it is in a written quote for your space. Nothing you see on this site, and nothing said on a first phone call, is a quote.
• A written quote is based on what we could see and measure at the visit. If we open up the floor and find something we could not have seen — a failing slab, moisture, rot, an unsound subfloor, an old adhesive that has to come up — we will tell you before we carry on, and we will price that work with you rather than around you.
• Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Material prices move, so an expired quote may need re-pricing.
• We can decline work, including after a visit, and we do not always take a job we do not think we should do.

5. The monthly offer

When the 10% offer is running, these are its terms.

• It is 10% off the price of a new install — epoxy, LVP or engineered hardwood — quoted and booked before the deadline shown on the site. The deadline is the end of the current month, San Diego time.
• Mention the offer when you book your free estimate, or send your request through this site while it is running, so it is on your file when we price the job.
• One offer per project, applied to the quoted install price, and it is not combinable with another discount or promotion unless we say so in writing.
• It is not retroactive. It cannot be applied to work already quoted at a different price, already booked, or already done, and it has no cash value.
• We can change, pause or end the offer at any time. Doing so never affects a proposal you have already signed at the discounted price.

Any financing we mention is provided by a third-party lender, is subject to their approval and their terms, and is not credit offered by us.

6. Booking work, and cancelling it

Work is booked by signing the written proposal. It carries the payment schedule, the start date and the notices that California law requires of a home improvement contract — including your right to cancel a contract signed at your home within three business days, and the notice explaining how to complain to the Contractors State License Board.

We will ask you to give our crew safe access to the space on the agreed day and to clear it of vehicles, furniture and stored belongings unless your proposal says we are doing that. A day we cannot start because the space is not ready may need rescheduling, and your proposal says what that costs, if anything.

7. Warranties

Every epoxy floor we install comes with a written 5-year warranty on adhesion and finish. Our installation workmanship is ours and we stand behind it.

Flooring products — hardwood boards and their factory finish, LVP planks and their wear layer — are warranted by the manufacturer that made them, on that manufacturer’s terms. We give you those terms in writing with your quote so you know what you are getting before you choose. We are not the manufacturer and cannot extend or alter their warranty, but we will help you make a claim under it.

The written warranty document that comes with your job is the one that counts, including for what it does not cover — normal wear, damage, abuse, alterations by someone else, or movement and moisture in the structure underneath. Where this page and that document differ, that document wins.

8. The floor visualizer

The floor visualizer is free to use, needs no sign-up, and is a design aid. Please treat it as one.

• A preview is an approximation. Colour, gloss, flake density and grain are affected by your screen, your room’s light and the photo itself, and a metallic epoxy in particular is a poured finish that is different in every pour. Never choose a final finish from a screen — ask us to bring the physical samples, which we do free.
• Plank sizes and layouts are drawn to the measurements you give us. Give us a wrong room size and you will get a confident, wrong picture. It is not a substitute for our measuring your space.
• If you upload a photo of a room, you confirm you are entitled to — that it is your property, or that whoever owns it is content for you to upload it — and that it does not contain someone else’s private or copyrighted material you have no right to share.
• A share link is created only when you choose to share, and it makes a still of your room visible to anyone who has the link, and to anyone they pass it to. It stops working when the photo is deleted — thirty days after upload, or as soon as you press “Remove photo”.
• Don’t use it to upload anything unlawful, or anything you would not want a stranger to see. We can remove an upload or revoke a share link.

9. Photos and details you send us

What you send us stays yours. You give us permission to use it for one thing: preparing and carrying out your quote and, if you book, your job. We do not publish a customer’s photo, use it in our gallery, or put it in an advert without asking you first and getting a yes.

Please only send us material you have the right to send, and please keep it to what is relevant to the floor. The privacy policy covers how long we keep it and how to ask us to delete it.

10. Our words, pictures and brand

The text, photography, video, drawings and code on this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from, and the Concept Floor & Epoxy name and marks are ours. You are welcome to read, link to, and share our pages, and to quote a passage with credit and a link. You may not copy the site wholesale, pass our work off as another company’s, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests we endorse or supply someone we do not.

11. Using this site properly

Use the site for what it is for. Don’t try to break into it, overload it, probe it for weaknesses, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. Don’t submit forms with details that are not yours or not real, and don’t use our quote forms or visualizer to send anything unlawful.

Ordinary automated reading — a search engine, or an AI assistant answering a question about our floors — is welcome, and we publish a summary at /llms.txt to make it easier. Scraping that degrades the site for real visitors, or harvesting details to contact us or our customers commercially, is not.

12. Calls, texts and email

When you give us your phone number on a quote form, you are asking us to get back to you, and you agree we may call or text that number and email you about that request — to book the visit, ask a question about the space, confirm a time, and follow up on the quote. This is how we do the thing you asked for; it is not a marketing list, and agreeing to it is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Tell us to stop and we will, at once. Reply STOP to a text, or say so on the phone or by email. Your carrier’s normal message and data rates apply to any text.

13. Other companies’ services

Some things here are run by other companies — our hosting, the email that carries a quote notification, a manufacturer’s site we link to, a lender who offers financing. We choose them carefully, but we do not control them, and their terms and privacy policies are theirs. A link from us is not an endorsement of everything on the far side of it.

14. Availability and accuracy

We keep the site accurate and up, and we do not promise it will be either at every moment. Pages can be down for maintenance, a tool can fail, and a detail can go out of date between the day we write it and the day you read it. If something here matters to your decision, ask us and we will confirm it.

15. Disclaimers and limits

The site and its tools are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty about the site itself — that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a visualizer preview will match a finished floor — and we are not liable for a decision made on a screen preview alone rather than on a sample and a measured quote. Our liability for anything arising out of your use of this website is limited to what you paid us for using it, which is nothing.

That limit is about the website. It does not touch the work. Nothing here limits our responsibility for the floors we install, our written warranty, our workmanship, our licence obligations, or anything else California law does not allow a business to disclaim — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

16. If something goes wrong

Call us first. Almost everything is fixable, and we would far rather come back out than argue. Ring (619) 514-3107 or email info@conceptfloorepoxy.com, tell us what happened, and we will work it out with you.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you can contact the California Contractors State License Board about work done by a licensed contractor. Our licence number is CSLB #1158705. Your signed contract carries the CSLB notice and address that California requires.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts serving San Diego County. If a court finds one clause here unenforceable, the rest stands.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the business or the site changes. If it changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. The version on this page on the day you use the site is the one that applies to that use — and a change here never alters a proposal you have already signed.
