Every floor

The village and the beach colony are older homes on small lots, many on raised foundations; the Heights and the Mesa are newer and on slab. The two halves get quoted differently.

    Does living on the coast change a hardwood install?

    It changes the timing. We take a moisture reading at the quote visit, and by the water it usually means the boards acclimate at the longer end of the three-to-seven-day window before we install. That wait is what keeps the floor flat.
